PROFHILO® is an innovative treatment that has revolutionised the aesthetic market. It is a preparation composed of stabilised hybrid systems of hyaluronic acid. Contrary to standard fillers, it does not contain any cross-linking agents, and the concentration of hyaluronic acid in it is the highest available in the world and amounts to as much as 64 mg.

What does PROFHILO® treatment look like?
1. We start we a consultation - this is the first step in your Profhilo anti-ageing journey, during which we'll check that this treatment is best suited to your needs, wants and skin condition. We will talk through the process and collaborate with you to find a treatment plan that works BEST for you. This extensive consultation also gives you a chance to get to know your aesthetic injector and the clinic. 2. If you’re happy with your treatment plan then your Profhilo appointment can be booked in, even on the same day.
Before your treatment, like with other injectables you should avoid:
- blood thinners like aspirin and other anti-inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen or Aleve,
- fish oil,
- multivitamins
- vitamin E
for at least 1 day beforehand, as they can increase the appearance of bruising after the treatment.
3. To start with we'll cleanse your face, disinfect it and mark the areas to be treated - only 5 points per side! During the treatment we can apply numbing cream to make sure the procedure is comfortable for you, however it is not necessary, as the product is delivered with a very thin needle.
The 5 points (BAP) are specially designed to minimise risks and maximise the spreadability of Profhilo. The injection points are selected in secure areas far from major vessels, and in an area promoting great diffusion of the product.
The positioning of the BAP injections allow us to give excellent results into the nasolabial folds, the jawline, cheeks which gives an overall improvement in the appearance of the face, with increased firmness, elasticity, and brightness of the skin, reducing the most superficial wrinkles to the deep nasolabial folds.
4. During your treatment you'll receive 5 small injections (per side) using a very thin needle which tends to leave the skin with minimal side effects following treatment.
In general, you will not have any marks, so you can return to your usual activities.
5. Immediately after, you will have slight swelling, at the points of deposits, but they'll be massaged prior to leaving the clinic.
The product then flows and distributes itself evenly, integrating within your skin’s tissue without resistance (rather than remaining where it is placed like filler), which makes it naturally a much less painful procedure.
The entire treatment process usually takes under 30 minutes and has no required recovery time, so you can get back to your day straight after treatment.
6. After your Profhilo treatment some people experience mild swelling or bruising. If you experience anything like that, this usually goes down within a few days, leaving you with a plump, youthful appearance. You should try and avoid touching the area and taking part in any intense exercises for 24 hours after treatment. It is also advisable to increase your water intake for at least a week after the procedure.
How many PROFHILO® treatments are required?
As a standard, the manufacturer recommends two treatments with a 30-day interval, and for people with poor skin condition, an additional third treatment 2 months after the last one.
When will I see the results?
Profhilo Results are visible after just one full course of treatments, which consists of two sessions with a four-week break in between.
Clients can expect signs of intense hydration. The skin is illuminated and fine lines disappear. You will notice a smoother, more plump complexion. Even in the case of people with more wrinkles, the improvement in skin structure is unquestionable. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated after a period of 6 months (the results last roughly 6 months).
