MESOTHERAPY TREATMENT

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure where a series of superfine injections of vitamins, minerals and amino acids cocktails are delivered into the mesodermal layer of the skin. This infusion of savvy ingredients nourishes and rejuvenates the skin while also stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, both essential for skin’s natural elasticity.

Benefits of mesotherapy

Beauty Model

Thanks to the mesotherapy treatment, active substances, which are selected individually based on skin condition, are injected into the skin, thus activating its regeneration processes. This makes it possible to work on various aesthetic problems of the skin by providing it with optimal ingredients and improving its general condition. In addition, it is an excellent preventive treatment that delays the aging process and prevents the skin from sagging.

What happens during needle mesotherapy?

During a mesotherapy treatment, we introduce individually selected mixtures directly into the skin with a thin needle using shallow injections. This enables the necessary substances to be delivered deep into the skin – where no cream can reach (!). In addition, the punctures themselves activate biorevitalization processes in the skin, such as stimulation of collagen and elastin production with fibroblasts.

Indications for needle mesotherapy:

  • dehydrated, flaccid skin which lacks firmness

  • discoloration, uneven skin tone, pigmentation

  • cellulite

  • excessive hair loss

  • lines and wrinkles

  • bags under eyes etc.

How does needle mesotherapy work?

Mesotherapy improves the quality of the epidermis and dermis. It counteracts skin aging, increases its tension and density. It evens out the skin tone as well as moisturizes and nourishes it.

Thanks to it, you can reduce wrinkles, discoloration, cellulite and stretch marks.

If it's performed on the scalp, it prevents hair loss and nourishes hair follicles.

Are the effects of needle mesotherapy immediate?

Immediately after the treatment, the skin is tense, but you should usually wait a few weeks for the final results.

How often should needle mesotherapy be done?

Although the results are visible after the first treatment, mesotherapy gives the best results after a series of 3-6 treatments at intervals of 2-3 weeks. In order to maintain the effect, a reminder treatment should be performed every six months. Another, equally good protocol is to alternate mesotherapy and microneedling treatments in a series of 4-6 treatments in total.

Post treatment advice:

  • avoid the sun and sunbeds (up to 4 weeks),

  • avoid hot baths, saunas, swimming pools, peelings, the use of rough towels and depilation in the treatment area, intense physical effort, and large temperature fluctuations (7 days or until the skin has completely healed),

  • refrain from consuming alcohol, applying makeup, touching and massaging the skin, using irritating cosmetics, e.g. based on alcohol (for 24 hours after the procedure)

  • use sunscreen with SPF 30-50

What do mesotherapy mixtures contain?

Mesotherapy with hyaluronic acid is very popular. In addition, the active substances contained in mixtures include: stem cells, anti-wrinkle peptides, mineral salts, plant extracts, vitamins and others. Mesotherapy with platelet-rich plasma is also very popular.

What is mesotherapy used for?

Mesotherapy of the face and its surrounding area is used to reduce wrinkles, treat acne lesions and scars, hydrate and tone the skin, reduce discoloration and bags under the eyes. It is also used as a preventative measure to skin ageing.

Body mesotherapy is used to reduce stretch marks and cellulite.

Thanks to mesotherapy we can target particular parts of the skin with appropriate adapt appropriate meso-cocktails, that way we are acting on local problems. The mesotherapy treatment can be successfully used in various parts of the body, also on the hands, feet and scalp.

What does the mesotherapy treatment look like?

We apply a numbing cream to clean skin, and then we deposit active substances into the client’s skin by means of very shallow injections. This is performed with a very fine and short needle.

How long does it take to recover from mesotherapy? What are the common side effects of needle mesotherapy?

The most common side effects of mesotherapy are:

  • swelling - body’s natural reaction to the treatment. It may occur especially around the eye area. Usually lasts up to 2 days, but people with sensitive skin and prone to edema, for example suffering from kidney or thyroid diseases, may have them longer.

  • lumps - at the injection site, will disappear within hours after the treatment, but in some cases it may take up to 72 hours. This depends on the product used and individual skin reaction.

  • small bruises - may appear due to burst/nicked small blood vessels. Appears especially in people with a tendency to bruising. The risk of bruising increases if you take, painkillers or anticoagulants (such as warfarin, aspirin) up to 2 weeks before treatment. Also alcohol increases the risk of bruising.

  • allergic reaction (rare) - usually in the form of erythema, which disappears within a few hours after the procedure.

Mesotherapy prices depend on the product used:
