What's the procedure like?

We use a very fine needle, that's about 1cm long - the process of breaking the epidermis with a needle is not painful, but we use an anaesthetic cream to make sure you're comfortable. Immediately after the treatment you'll notice small puncture points and/or small lumps. It is recommended that after Dermaheal LL lipolysis, a gentle massage should be performed in order to evenly distribute the product. This process supports and facilitates the excretion of damaged fat cells from the human body.

​How many Dermaheal treatments should be performed?
​

What are the side effects of the treatment?
Immediately after the procedure, you may feel a slight discomfort, as inflammation often appears in the areas of the deposits, manifested by redness and slight swelling. Any side effects disappear up to 24 to 48 hours after the procedure.

Fat Dissolving Injections - Lipolysis

This simple and effective procedure shrinks double chins as well as improving the definition of the jawline. The treatment contracts the skin in order to achieve a more streamlined, youthful appearance.
There are many brands of fat dissolving products such as: AQUALYX, Lipo Lax +, Cincelar + etc. The fat dissolving solution typically requires a course of two to four treatments with four to six-week intervals between each session. Although the procedure doesn’t hurt, you should expect some swelling which can take up to three weeks to subside. Although the fat doesn’t come back, this type of treatment should only be used as a supplement to a healthy lifestyle, and is only intended for dealing with small pockets of fat rather than for providing a complete weight loss solution.
Unlike liposuction, AQUALYX normally leads to a degree of skin contraction too, so you’re less likely to end up with loose skin around the areas which have been treated.

Post treatment advice:

Avoid high temperature stimulation such as: sauna, steam room, hot tub bath, hot packs, etc.

Cleansing, makeup, and light showers are allowable on the day of the injection.

Exercise and/or excessive sweating should be avoided and sport massage is not recommended.

Do not touch or press excessively on the treatment area.

Drinking or excessive smoking is prohibited.

A balanced and healthy diet is recommended to be used in conjunction with the treatment to ensure the best result.
